on same the weekend I found myself in the Time Warner Center

buying some Manga from borders (geek pause)

As per usual - I took a look-see into Bebe

my purveyors of all heels high and mighty

Turns out they had just received shipment on these thigh high boots

which had been out of stock on the website for months

(not like I was stalking them or anything *cough*)

and they fit my not-so-small thighs. and I was shocked

and then I noticed the slightly beveled platform and the perfect heel shape

BAM. SOLD.

Sometimes when the work was too much for the Manhattan artisans to handle

the work was sent upstate to Hudson Valley and beyond for farm children to finish

Since each and every stone had to be set by hand 

the keen eyesight of children was ideal for handling the job

and now I have my own

I think I can still repeat the whole story complete from start to finish.
